As Chief Administrative Officer for Shelby County, Harold Collins understands that a strong workforce is the backbone of a thriving community. He has championed employee engagement by promoting healthy and meaningful activities while leading the charge in securing a 12% salary increase since 2022—ensuring that county employees are valued and rewarded for their service.
Since 2018, under Harold’s leadership, the Shelby County Pension Fund has grown by $500 million, providing long-term financial security for employees and retirees. He knows that when our dedicated public servants reach retirement, their hard-earned money must be there to support the life they’ve built.
