Through strategic investments, we will maintain funding commitments, expand school facilities, and build new schools to ensure every child has access to a high-quality education. Strong schools create strong communities, and their success starts with our commitment today.
Healthy Children and Families
Healthy children and strong families are the foundation of a thriving Shelby County, and the next Mayor must take strategic, proactive, and committed action to expand healthcare access through Regional One Health, the Shelby County Health Department, annual health fairs, and key partnerships that provide critical resources to our communities.
Taking Care of Shelby County
Shelby County’s strength begins with the people who serve it. We must continue taking action to support our employees and retirees by ensuring competitive salaries, well-earned bonuses, and a strong pension system. With the pension fund growing by $500 million and salaries increasing by over 12%, we remain committed to valuing and investing in those who keep Shelby County running.

Safe Cities
Shelby County must take decisive action to restore safety and security in Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Lakeland, Millington, and Memphis. We will expand neighborhood watch programs, strengthen community policing, and invest in corrections and intervention efforts to reduce crime and rebuild trust. Safe streets, strong enforcement, and proactive leadership will ensure every resident feels protected in their community.
